This 8-day itinerary through France combines history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. 

Day 1 - PARIS

Arrival and transfer from the airport to the tour hotel. Accommodation and breakfast at Novotel Paris Suresnes Longchamp or similar.

Day 2 - PARIS

Breakfast and half-day panoramic tour of the main sights. Paris, the capital of France, is a vibrant city rich in history. Known as the City of Light, it's famous for its iconic architecture, exquisite cuisine, and romantic atmosphere. Key historical moments include the French Revolution, which began with the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, marking a period of major political and social transformation. During the Belle Époque, the city became a hub of creativity, attracting artists like Pablo Picasso and writers like Ernest Hemingway. The Eiffel Tower, built in 1889, became a symbol of progress and modernity. Don't miss landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Arc de Triomphe. A stroll through Montmartre or along the Seine reveals the city’s unique charm. Accommodation and breakfast at Novotel Paris Suresnes Longchamp or similar.

Day 3 - PARIS – ROUEN – ÉTRETAT – LE HAVRE

After a relaxed breakfast, we head to Rouen, a medieval city full of charm. We’ll explore the old town, its cobbled streets, and admire the stunning Notre-Dame Cathedral, featured in Monet’s paintings. At the Old Market Square, we’ll reflect on the historic site where Joan of Arc was executed in 1431. Next, we visit Étretat, a picturesque coastal village in Normandy, known for its dramatic white chalk cliffs rising over the English Channel. Iconic formations include the Porte d’Aval and the Aiguille, which inspired artists like Monet and Courbet. Free time for lunch. We’ll then continue to Le Havre, a port city rebuilt after WWII, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its bold modernist architecture and vibrant cultural life. Day 4 - LE HAVRE – MONT SAINT-MICHEL – RENNES – NANTES

After breakfast, we’ll travel to Mont Saint-Michel, one of France’s most iconic and magical sites. This rocky islet, topped by a stunning abbey built in the 8th century, offers a unique experience. Admission to the abbey is included. We’ll stroll through its charming cobbled streets and learn about its fascinating history. Next, we continue to Rennes, the lively capital of Brittany. We’ll visit the old town and the iconic Parliament Square. Free time for lunch—be sure to try a Breton galette. The day ends in Nantes, a city where history meets innovation. We'll view the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany from the outside and visit the fantastic Machines of the Isle of Nantes, inspired by the work of Jules Verne. For dinner, we recommend the lively Bouffay district (dinner not included). Accommodation and breakfast at Novotel Nantes Centre Bord de Loire or similar.

Day 5 - NANTES – LA ROCHELLE – BORDEAUX

After breakfast, we depart for La Rochelle, a charming coastal city with a rich maritime heritage. We'll explore the Old Port with its iconic medieval towers. You’ll also have the chance to visit the Aquarium of La Rochelle, one of the largest in Europe. Free time for lunch by the port. In the afternoon, we continue to Bordeaux, a sophisticated city renowned for its architecture and wine culture. Highlights include the Place de la Bourse and its dreamy Water Mirror, and the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. In the evening, we suggest strolling through the Saint-Pierre district to enjoy the local cuisine (dinner not included). Accommodation and breakfast at Novotel Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean or similar.

Day 6 - BORDEAUX – POITIERS – TOURS

After breakfast, enjoy a free morning in Bordeaux. Then we head to Poitiers with a lunch stop en route. On arrival, we’ll visit the Place Charles de Gaulle and the Notre-Dame la Grande church. We’ll finish the day in Tours, the gateway to the Loire Valley castles. Its charming old town and vibrant atmosphere make it perfect for a stroll. Don’t miss Plumereau Square and the local cuisine. Accommodation and breakfast at Mercure Tours Centre or similar.

Day 7 - TOURS – CHAMBORD – ORLÉANS – PARIS

After breakfast, we visit the majestic Château de Chambord, one of the Loire Valley’s most iconic castles. Built by King Francis I, this Renaissance masterpiece features over 400 rooms, 365 fireplaces, and a famous double-helix staircase attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. Entry is included. Then we head to Orléans, closely associated with Joan of Arc, who led the city’s liberation in 1429. We’ll explore the old town and see the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Martroi Square. Free time for lunch at a local bistro. In the afternoon, we return to Paris. Accommodation and breakfast at Novotel Paris Suresnes Longchamp or similar.

Day 8 - PARIS

Free day before your transfer from the hotel to the airport. End of services.
